Lake District

The Lake District is one of the few regions in Britain that is full of rich and raw surroundings that will inspire any kind of traveller, with its cloud capped mountains that have knife edge ridges and plunging valley walls there is no wonder it attracts an estimated 15 million people a year.

It is one of Britain\'s best locations for people who like to get out in the fresh air for a hiking weekend, weather it be to go for a easy hike while visiting some of the areas oldest pubs for a country meal or to take on some of the highest mountain ascents of Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike.

The Lake District is a mecca for the more adventurous type of traveller,  with its amazing mountain ranges of all levels and degrees for rock climbers of all levels.  It also as some of the best mountain bike routes in the country such as the Walna Scar, High Street and Borrowdale where you will discover some of the lesser known gems and with the trails breath taking views you will be inspired by this amazing part of England.

For a more relaxing tour of the Lake District you can take a cruise down the largest lake in Britain, ranging from a few hours to a whole day with views of some of the most famous walking trails in the region, while taking in some of the most breath taking scenery.
