Koh Tao Scuba Diving in Thailand

The Koh Tao island is a hotspot for anyone looking for a great location to get their scuba diving certification or looking for an undisturbed paradise that as not been ruined by tourism. Over the years, it as had an increase in attracting backpackers who want to get a scuba diving certification because of its reasonably priced accommodation and cost of getting qualified.
With it’s clean beaches, great coves, lush forests and unexplored territories this as many locations to go and explore, which is why this is a great under water kingdom to go and experience.
Some of diving sites that you can go and experience on this fantastic island are:
1. Shark Island This is open to divers on all levels and as huge boulders and soft corals. This is a great site to experience turtles, barracuda, clown triggerfish and titan triggerfish.
2. Mango Bay This is a fantastic bay for first time divers and can only be accessed by boat with its shallow reef and sandy bottom. There is also as small reef fish, puffer and eels.
3. Green Rock This is great site for divers of all levels with a great selection of canyons, swim throughs, caves and boulders. Here you will get to experience a brief viewing of reef shark sightings, titan triggerfish, giant trevallies and cobias.
4. Chumphon Piccale This site is for the more experienced divers and you will get to see whale shark in season, bull shark, giant grouper and bat fish.
Other diving sites on the island are Hin Wong, White Rock, Nang Yuan Pinnacle and South west pinnacle.
