Culture of Peru plays an important part amongst the Peruvian people with the celebrations of festivals, music, historical architecture and food.  The Peru culture includes people from different religions, most of them who live in Peru are mestizo, which is a mixture of Amerindians and Peruvians that come from a European ancestry.

With festivals playing a huge part in the Peru culture there is usually a festival going on somewhere in the country most of the year.  One of the more popular festivals are The Lord of the Miracles which is on in October in Lima.

The Peruvian cuisines as a great selection of sweet dishes and desserts, some of which are Albacores, Turrones and Picarones.  Pisco is the national drink of Peru and some of the delicacies you will come across are the Ceviche, Rocto relleno, Juane, and Pez Guitarra.

Music in Peru is a mixture of sound and style played with instruments such as the harp, lutes and guitars.  The dance styles in Peru are in relation to their ancient ancestors such as the hunting and war periods of Peru.
