Lake Garda Of Italy

Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake in the region and is only second to Lake Como in terms of popularity, it is located at the foot of the alps and as towns situated all the way around it,  with Lake Garda being situated only a few kilometres from major cities such as Milan which is around 90km away from the lakes it is well positioned for the connections via road, rail or air.

With its amazing scenery of natural beauty and vibrant colours that is surrounded by the Dolmites of Brenta to the north and fantastic views of the hills which can look like a large silk blanket being blown across the skyline to the south of the lakes.  This makes it a great habitation for its rich vegetation to flourish because of the Mediterranean weather.

The vineyards and olive groves produces some of the best wine and olive oil in the country, with small villages and towns being situated all around the lake, it makes it a very scenic walk and one of the best areas to experience in this amazing area of Italy.

Lake Garda is a fantastic location for any sporting enthusiasts with almost every sport on offer from playing tennis, paragliding the mountains and windsurfing, but most of all it is one of best locations for adrenaline junkie mountain bikers which as been said by many mountain bikers that this is one place to experience before you die.

As well as its outdoor lifestyle, it also as a great nightlife, restaurants, cafes and trendiest discos all around the area and with being well situated from historical cities of Verona, Venice and Brescia it can be a great spot to have your break while going for one or two day trips to the major cities. 

The northern end of the lakes being for the quiet holiday maker and the southern end of the lakes being for the more adventurous and outgoing type there is something for everyone of all types and ages.
