The country of romance and lovers

France is made up of mountains, beaches, wooded lands and a rugged coastline. Its landscape is characterized by quaint villages, energetic cities, ski resorts, chateaux and vineyards and glamorous beach resorts of the French Riviera. Great rivers such as the Loire, the Garronne, the Rhône, the Rhine and the Seine which run through different parts of the country form extensive water systems as well.

French culture and style have permeated all areas of the globe. France is world renowned for its fashion houses as well as its epicurean delights. The French have introduced the world to delicacies such as foie-gras, escargots and truffles as well as a wide array of fine wines and champagnes which are largely produced by the Chateaux of its Bordeaux region.
