With the park offering some of the best camping facilities in this region of Costa Rica, its not to be missed when you visit this amazing country.
The park offers any keen hiker, nature lover or adventurer a great experience. During the wet season you will experience lush green forests, while in the dry season during the summer months, it has stunning beaches and amazing trails to try out.
One of the main attractions of the national park, is that it’s the only one that has 10 unique habitations on the planet. With it being home to over 100 mammals, over 10,000 types of insect, close to 250 types of birds and over 90 species of reptiles, it’s a national park that offers something for everyone.
The park itself is also split into two parts, which is the Santa Rosa and Murcielago. In the Santa Rosa area, you will find well marked walking trails, which will take its visitors through lush green forests and amazing waterfalls, where not even a picture perfect shot will give you even a little taste to what you will experience when there. One of the most famous trails is the Naked Indian loop.
