La Paz Waterfall Gardens is a great day out for anyone visiting Costa Rica.   It is only an hour away from the capital of San Jose.  With its amazing trails, you will experience the butterfly house, frog enclosures and fantastic waterfalls to name just a few.

You will get a taste of the colour and variety in what Costa Rica as to offer, with its amazing beauty and diverse wildlife including some reptiles and birds that can only be seen is this country.   The waterfall gardens is a great place to start before heading out to one of the national parks, such as the

La Paz Wildlife

When exploring the waterfall gardens you will experience some of the most unique species on the planet without the need to the go on a hiking trail throughout the jungles of Costa Rica.  Just some of the species you will get to see is:

·    Colourful butterflies of all shapes and sizes.
·    The strawberry dart frog, that warns off any predators with its bright red body and blue legs.  It is 1 of the many poisonous frogs to be found here.
·    The small, fluffy and playful monkeys.
