Mont Tremblant: The Best Skiing Spot in Eastern Canada

In a country where winters can be harsh and crushed with snow, skiing is an activity that is natural to its locals. Mont Tremblant is an upscale ski-resort that is touted to be one of the best skiing spot in the world with the highest peak in the Laurentian with 3150 feet.

The resort functions all year round and has different activities during summer but it is during winter that the resort shines. It has ski trails and slopes for all levels of skiers as well as facilities for ski rentals as well as snowboards.

Mont Tremblant has 94 marked downhill trails with the longest being six kilometers called the Nansen Trail. Out of the 94 marked trails, there are 16 Easy Trails, 31 Intermediate Trails, 37 Difficult Trails and 10 Expert Only Trails. There are many accommodation options for skiers in Mont Tremblant. The resort’s pedestrian village is one of the most unique in the country whereby no automobiles are allows within the village vicinity. Restaurants and other amenities are also available at the foot of the slopes with popular bars and restaurants when the slopes close at night.

Prices for ski passes and lifts pass ranges from season family passes to individual passes and even daily ski passes. Numbers would start at $70 for a whole day to $800 approximately. Mont Tremblant offers one of the best quality skiing spot on par to Aspen, Colorado and Banff, British Columbia.
