Australia

A melting pot of cultures, natural wonders and an endemic wildlife
Australia, the sixth largest country in the world is considered a continent by itself. Located between the Pacific and the Indian Oceans, to the south of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, this vast, mesmerizing country is sparsely populated and has a dramatically varied landscape. Australia is divided into six states and two territories with the majority of its population concentrated on its eastern coastal plain and its southeastern coast.
With its two thousand national parks, fourteen world heritage listed areas and more than seven thousand beaches, Australia has much to offer for an intrepid tourist. Natural wonders such as the Great Barrier Reef and its corral islands and the wondrous magnetic mound of Ayers Rock enchant and fascinate the tourists who also enjoy the cosmopolitan delights of the pulsating Australian cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Australia’s unique array of native wildlife consisting of Kangaroos, Koalas, Dingoes Possums and Wombats and birds such as Kookaburras coupled with its endemic flora of gum and eucalyptus trees is yet another attraction that this captivating land holds for a visitor.
